As Russian Information Agency “Novosti” reports 25-28 May a film crew of a joint Russian-Finnish documentary film project “Across Russia” worked in Vladivostok. The crew is making a trip from Moscow through Siberia to the Russian Far East on the longest railroad in the world “Trans-Siberian railroad”. Vladivostok is a final point of the crew trip. On the way from Moscow to Vladivostok the film crew shot filmsin Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Ulan-Ude and Khabarovsk. The first objects shot by the Vladivostok guests were the railway stele symbolizing the end of the Great Trans-Siberian railroad with the length of 9288 km and the railway station. The project participants also visited Russian Island where in 2012 the APEC summit will take place. Meetings with the Maritime Territory residents were also organized for the film crew. The film is planned to be demonstrated not only in Russia and Finland but in other European countries.
