The meteorological service of Khabarovsk has forecasted the break-up of ice on most rivers of the Khabarovsk Territory at their usual time, or maybe 2-3 days later. Ice drifting in the vicinity of Khabarovsk is expected by April, 20-23 and by the end of April the Amur River is supposed to be free from ice. As compared to its average level, snow accumulation in the area has increased by 1.5-3 times this year.
