According to informational web site http://vladnews.ru Russia’s Prime Minister V.Putin is going to visit Khabarovsk and Vladivostok at the end of the week (July, 30-August, 1). He intends to take part in the ceremony of launching a gas pipeline between Khabarovsk and Vladivostok. The Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok gas transporting system, going across the Khabarovsk territory, Jewish Autonomous region and Primorye will be put into operation in 2011. The export of gas abroad to China and Japan is also envisaged. A gas main between Khabarovsk and Vladivostok has been already installed and put into operation.
In Vladivostok Vladimir Putin will conduct several meetings and visit construction sites related to the forthcoming APEC Summit-2012. An oceanarium complex, Putin’s favorite project is supposed to be of his prime interest and concern.
9 years ago in 1999, when as Prime Minister under President Boris Eltsin, V.Putin made his first visit to Vladivostok.
