The 4th Far Eastern International Economic Forum will be held in Khabarovsk on September 08-09, 2009 under the aegis of the Russian State Duma, All- Russian political party “United Russia” with the participation of the Khabarovsky Krai Government and the official support of the Russian Federation Government and Russian Academy of Sciences. This Forum is aimed at discussing social and economic development of Siberia and the Far East in the conditions of economic crisis, perspectives of economic and social development of the Far Eastern territories. The State Duma deputies, members of the Federation Council, representatives of Russian federal bodies, heads of different Russian regions and businessmen are invited to the Forum. All in all at the Forum there will be 200 participants on the Russian part. 130 foreign guests from international organizations and 16 countries including the United States, Japan, South Korea, China and other countries will take part in the Forum. All the participants will be accommodated at “Intourist” hotel.
