Russian ecologists suggest holding the World Summit on a tiger preservation in September 2010 in Vladivostok. Director of the WWF Russian branch Igor Chestin has already enlisted the support of his initiative from Ministry of Nature, Ministry of the Region, Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Administration of the Maritime Territory. Ecologists suggest a number of measures on a tiger preservation: creation of Russian-Chinese nature reserve and the beginning of the program of a tiger return to the North-East of China together with Chinese colleagues.
